Sana'a, NewsYemen:

Multiple sources reported that the son of the founder of Iran's arm in Yemen was injured, while his wife died during a traffic accident on the road linking Sana'a and Amran, which are under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia.

The sources stated that Ali Hussein al-Houthi, appointed director general of command and control in the Ministry of Interior of the unrecognized militia government, was seriously injured and his wife died as a result of a traffic accident believed to be premeditated, noting that the accident occurred during Ali al-Houthi's return from Amran to Sana'a.

The sources did not rule out that the incident was an assassination attempt to get rid of Ali al-Houthi, whose influence is escalating day by day, especially after he was assigned the task of supervising the Rescue Forces, as the leader of the group, his uncle Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, fears that his first rival for the leadership of the group founded by his father and now controlling the capabilities of most regions  in the north and is currently moving to control the resources of the south.

In recent years, disputes have increased between the leaders of the group's first ranks supported by the Iranian regime, and the conflict has worsened, especially between the military leaders represented by Abdul Karim al-Houthi, who is considered the de facto ruler of Sana'a, and Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, who leads private militias and extends his control over the judiciary and endowments and currently resides outside Sana'a.

This conflict led to the death of a number of members of the Houthi family and prompted others to hide from the scene now, fearing for their lives.
