The press community is mourning the death of the important journalist, Faisal Al-Soufi

The press and media community was saddened this morning, Saturday, by the death of the important journalist, Faisal Al-Soufi, in a hospital in the capital, Aden.

The NewsYemen team extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the Al-Soufi family, for the loss of one of the columns of his news site, as a result of his exposure to chronic diseases, as a result of which he was transferred for treatment more than once.

Al-Sufi's family confirmed that burial procedures are underway, and the funeral and burial will take place in the Mocha district.

It is noteworthy that the Sufi writer is considered one of the cadres of the General People's Congress Party, and a member of the Standing Committee. He also worked in several media positions in various media outlets affiliated with the party, starting with the editor-in-chief of Al-Mithaq newspaper, and the editor-in-chief of the May 22 newspaper, and since 2011 he has headed the media center of the conference.

Since the uprising of December 2, 2017, Al-Sufi was the first media and political cadre to participate in the establishment stage, and to crystallize the media and political discourse of the national resistance.
