Sana'a, NewsYemen:

A tribal leader and businessman, from Raymah Governorate, was killed by a gunman in Sanaa, which is under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia.

Local sources said that a gunman shot a businessman and tribal leader, "Youssef Haider Ali al-Joon", near his home in the Qaa al-Qaydi neighborhood, south of Sanaa, under mysterious circumstances.

Activists on social media circulated a video clip showing the unarmed businessman, "Youssef Al-Joon", and talking with other people next to a building in the "Qaa Al-Qaydi" area. Meanwhile, a gunman who was next to him pulled out a pistol and shot him from behind.

Some people at the scene of the crime tried to transport  Al-Joon on board a dinah (commercial truck) used to transport foodstuffs, but he died.

Youssef Al-Joon hails from the Mezher district in the Raymah governorate, and he is a member of the local council there.

Recently, Sanaa and the areas under the control of the Houthis witnessed the liquidation of a number of tribal sheikhs, amid high rates of murder and forced looting.
